Dear Patients,
For many years I have been blessed to counsel my patients concerning the issues that they deal with in their everyday lives. One of the most common concerns that I hear from men and women is “low libido.” This can take on many forms, and certainly falls under the expanded umbrella I call “sexual wellness.” Some of the more common expressions of this are pain with intercourse, low desire, difficulty with arousal, or poor or no orgasm. These issues are very important to the affected patients, and to their relationships. Therefore, they are important to me.
I have done my best to help my patients with these concerns, and I’m pleased that most of my patients come back feeling much better in the sexual wellness department. However, due the epidemic proportions of complaints about sexual difficulties, we have decided to take the next step. Starting this week McMinn Clinic will sponsor an open forum called “Intimacy and Me.” At each meeting we will start with a specific topic, and then we’ll have time for Q&A or open discussion for whatever the group wants to talk about.
These will be casual get-togethers so bring an open mind and let’s get busy optimizing our sexual wellness. The sessions will be moderated by me and by Donna Mullinax, a certified counselor with special interest in sexual wellness.
The first of our monthly sessions will be held this Tuesday, May 5, at 6:00 PM here at McMinn Clinic in Suite 108. We will plan to go until about 7:30. If you have any problems in this area, or if you just hope to take your live life to the next level, then we hope to see you here.
